The Role Hartley People Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading care provider to recruit a Person in Charge (Social Care Leader) for a residential disability service based in Swinford, Co. Mayo. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Care professional and people leader to take on a key management position within a growing organisation and play an important role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support. As Person in Charge, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and leadership of the service, ensuring the people supported receive the highest possible standards of care while promoting independence, dignity and quality of life. You will lead and develop the care team, oversee individualised care planning and promote a positive and collaborative culture within the service, while ensuring full compliance with HIQA Standards, Department of Health Regulations and relevant regulatory requirements. The Person The successful candidate will be an experienced and compassionate Social Care professional with strong leadership capabilities and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional standards of person-centred care.
You will have:
A relevant Social Care or Health Care degree at Level 7 or above. A minimum of 3 years' management or supervisory experience within health or social care. A Level 6 Management qualification. A proven track record of managing a residential service in line with quality, regulatory and legislative requirements. Strong leadership, communication and team management skills. A commitment to delivering person-centred services and promoting the rights and independence of the people supported. A full current driving licence, full eligibility to drive in Ireland and access to a vehicle. Full eligibility to live and work in Ireland without restriction.
