Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Leasing Property Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day property management operations, coordinate leasing activities, manage tenant relations, maintain financial records, and support administrative and legal processes related to residential rental properties. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of property management and real estate practices. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including responding to inquiries, scheduling and conducting property showings, processing lease applications, preparing and editing lease agreements, and executing lease signings. Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and current tenants while providing exceptional customer service and conflict resolution. Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and property management software, including lease renewals, tenant files, maintenance records, and market rental rate tracking. Coordinate maintenance requests, preventive maintenance inspections, vendor scheduling, cleaning services, and follow-up to ensure properties remain in excellent condition. Oversee the move-out process, including scheduling inspections, coordinating repairs and cleaning, and preparing properties for new tenants. Handle all aspects of eviction proceedings and court-related documentation in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Prepare routine income and financial reports for management. Process invoices, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, track expenses, collect rents, and maintain accurate financial records. Research property records, deeds, ownership information, and related real estate documents as needed. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote available properties and attract qualified tenants. Draft professional notices, correspondence, and legal documentation related to property management operations. Qualifications & Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to maintain organized and accurate records. Experience with Rent Manager or similar property management software preferred. Strong understanding of residential leasing practices, real estate procedures, and property management laws. Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general office financial procedures. Ability to research deeds, property ownership records, and public real estate documents. Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and conflict management skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Willingness to travel locally to inspect properties and report findings to management. Experience conducting property inspections and identifying maintenance concerns. Preferred Candidate Our ideal candidate is experienced in residential property management, leasing operations, tenant relations, real estate procedures, and office administration. The candidate should be professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling administrative task effectively.
