We are looking for people who are committed to making a difference in the lives of others, who love God and have a vibrant personal relationship with Him through faith in Jesus Christ and are passionate about loving His people. Position Overview - PRN Shift Supervisor of Reside (Hourly as Needed) A PRN Shift Supervisor (PRN SS) assists the Program Manager of Reside in providing oversight and supervision of the participants of Naomi's House on an as needed basis.
A PRN SS
demonstrates leadership and program responsibility during shifts and works with participants to maintain the program schedule, including daily care and participant support. This position is as needed when Naomi's House staff is unavailable; part-time; and up to three 8-hour shifts. PRN SSs report to the Program Manager and are contract employees. Holiday hours are time and half.

Wheaton area Job Responsibilities Follows time schedule laid out in the program, including transportation as needed Maintains a daily log of each shift as assigned by Program Manager Demonstrates leadership to participants by leading program activities and encouraging participants to complete daily tasks Provides accountability to participants and expected scheduled routines Assists participants with meal preparation, planning, and cleanup Facilitates life groups as assigned by the Program Manager Utilizes a strength-based approach in providing structure for the program Uses time with participants to engage and develop intentional relationships Cultivates an atmosphere of mutual respect through words and behavior Leads by example in modeling a healthy lifestyle in body, soul, and spirit Provides direction and encouragement to participants Practices and teaches healthy boundaries to participants Navigates interpersonal conflicts through the discipline structure laid out in the programhandbook Provides support and crisis help as needed, including trauma-informed resourcing Provides administrative support as assigned by the Program Manager Other duties as assigned by Program Manager Maintains a teachable and flexible attitude Experience and Qualifications A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ A Bachelor's Degree in social work or a related field such as psychology or sociology.

Two years' experience in the field of behavioral health and some experience in residential care is preferred. Training in the following areas is desirable but not required: substance abuse, trauma, PTSD, Certified Alcohol and Other Drugs of Addiction Counselor (CAADC). Effective working in diverse settings with people across all socio-economic spectrums and a wide variety of personalities and roles (staff, residents, local agencies, etc.) Strong oral/written communication skills and listening abilities Well-developed ability to engage others in building relationships, sustaining momentum, etc. Proven capacity to maintain patience/tolerance and tact/diplomacy in high-pressure situations High level of integrity and strong ethical values; must maintain the highest standards of confidentiality with all records, including organizational and individual information Member or regular attender of a Bible-believing church A valid driver's license and clean driving record
Compensation and Benefits:
$18/hr, and $20/hr for overnights and Sundays.
