Full Job Description Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Homestead is hiring a Manager for one of our Communities! Love for seniors is a must! The Manager will lead the caregivers with a positive attitude and respond to all the needs of the residents. Must have good communication skills with all levels of staff and management. Caring for seniors and managing care staff is a requirement. Duties include but not limited to: Review shift supervisor checklists. Manage new hire onboarding.
Assist residents with care:
dressing, bathing and toileting. Follow up on issues, review 24 hours logs -corrective actions for med errors, absences, etc. Assess any care complaints. On-call responsibility. Conduct QA audits, review Incident reports/med errors and put interventions/training in place - involve nurse as necessary. Conduct monthly care audit on all resident assistants, conduct monthly med pass audit on all med tech's.

Requirements:
Previous experience working with the elderly and managing staff. Rotating on call; Able to cover all three shifts as needed. Willing to undergo a criminal background check. High school diploma or GED. Knowledge of basic computer operations. A positive attitude and the capacity to work as a team. Able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities. The ability to arrive on time for every shift. Able to lift 50 pounds.
