Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Property Manager to oversee a well-maintained, 96-unit apartment community in Middleville, MI. This community is truly a hidden gem —boasting strong occupancy, excellent rental collections, and a stable, supportive environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while still being part of a collaborative team. The position is 32 hours per week , offering the benefits of full-time employment along with the flexibility of a weekday off for appointments, personal commitments, or work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations of a 96-unit apartment community Manage leasing, resident relations, and rent collections Utilize Yardi for property management, reporting, and resident records Manage online rental payments and utility billbacks Coordinate and work closely with a full-time maintenance employee Ensure compliance with company policies, fair housing regulations, and local requirements Maintain high standards of curb appeal, resident satisfaction, and operational efficiency Qualifications Previous property management experience (apartment or residential preferred) Working knowledge of Yardi strongly preferred Experience with online payment systems and utility billback programs Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and problem-solve effectively Comfortable collaborating with maintenance staff and ownership/management teams 3-5 years prior experience in property management Industry certifications such as
CAM, NALP, CPM
