Sunshine Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dependable, organized, and compassionate Residential Manager to oversee the daily operation of a residential home serving individuals with developmental disabilities. This position combines leadership, administrative responsibilities, and direct care. Responsibilities Supervise, support, and provide direction to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) Maintain adequate staffing and assist with schedule coverage when necessary Ensure services are provided according to each individual's ISP and behavior support plan Monitor staff documentation, medication records, incident reports, and electronic visit verification Coordinate appointments, transportation, community activities, and household needs Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment Complete grocery and household shopping while managing assigned funds and receipts Communicate professionally with individuals, families, guardians, SSAs, healthcare providers, and company leadership Train and coach staff on individual-specific needs and company expectations Report unusual incidents and major unusual incidents according to Ohio DODD requirements Conduct routine home and documentation audits Attend team meetings, ISP meetings, and required trainings Provide direct care when needed, including assistance with personal care, meals, medication, transportation, and daily living activities Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergencies or staffing concerns Qualifications High school diploma or GED required At least 18 years of age Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Supervisory or residential management experience preferred Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance Ability to pass required criminal background checks and DODD exclusion screenings Current CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration certifications preferred Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to use electronic documentation and scheduling systems Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, or emergency coverage Physical Requirements Ability to assist individuals with daily living activities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required by the needs of the individuals served Ability to safely respond during emergency situations What We Offer Supportive leadership team Paid training Opportunities for professional growth Meaningful work that positively impacts the lives of others Sunshine Behavioral Healthcare is committed to providing person-centered, respectful, and dependable services.
