As an Ohio DODD-certified waiver provider, we pride ourselves on person-centered care, strong team support, and creating a safe, vibrant home environment for the individuals we serve. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and highly organized House Manager to lead daily operations at one of our residential waiver locations. In this role, you will bridge direct care and administrative oversight—supervising Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), ensuring state compliance, managing individual ISP implementation, and maintaining a welcoming household.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Scheduling:
Supervise, train, and mentor direct care staff (DSPs). Manage monthly home shift schedules, cover shift openings, and foster a positive workplace culture. Individualized Service Plans (ISP): Ensure individual goals, behavior plans, and care strategies are properly implemented and documented daily by team members.
DODD Compliance & Safety:
Maintain strict adherence to DODD rules, OAC mandates, county board standards, and health/safety protocols. Monitor health, safety, and hygiene standards across the residence.
Medication & Medical Oversight:
Oversee medication administration processes (Delegated Nursing / Category 1 certification), schedule medical appointments, and track health outcomes.
Household Management:
Manage home budgets, food planning, grocery shopping, supply inventory, and coordinate facility maintenance/repairs.
Communication & Advocacy:
Act as the primary liaison between County Board SSAs, guardians, families, medical providers, and agency leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years working in the Developmental Disabilities field (DSP, Lead DSP, or Site Supervisor) required. In addition, experience working with highly behavioral individuals is required.
DODD Knowledge:
Familiarity with Ohio DODD regulations, ISP execution, and Medicaid Waiver services.
Certifications:
High School Diploma or GED required (Associate's/Bachelor's in Human Services or related field is a plus). Valid Ohio Driver's License with an acceptable driving record (less than 6 points). CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). DODD Medication Administration certification preferred (Category 1).
Background Check:
Must pass an BCI/FBI criminal background check, registry checks (Abuse/Neglect), and BMV check (no more than 4 points on driving record).
On-Call Availability:
