Assistant Property Manager

Job Description

Heritage Property Management is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Property Manager to support our luxury residential communities throughout Bucks and Montgomery Counties. The Assistant Property Manager will work closely with the Senior Property Manager, on-site teams, residents, vendors, and the corporate office. This position plays an important role in daily property operations, resident satisfaction, rent collections, maintenance coordination, lease renewals, and overall community performance.   • Support the Senior Property Manager with daily community and portfolio operations.
  • Deliver professional, responsive, and courteous communication to residents.
  • Manage rent collections, receivables, delinquencies, and resident payment plans.
  • Prepare and file court documentation related to collection matters.
  • Attend landlord-tenant court hearings as required.
  • Prepare monthly delinquency and portfolio performance reports.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and monitor work orders through completion.
  • Assist with vendor and subcontractor scheduling for apartment turnovers.
  • Conduct regular property and site inspections.
  • Support the leasing team by touring prospective residents when needed.
  • Prepare and process move-in and move-out documentation.
  • Assist with lease renewals and resident retention efforts.
  • Work with property teams to maintain excellent curb appeal and community presentation.
  • Participate in resident events and community engagement activities.
  • Run weekly portfolio reports using AppFolio Property Management software.
  • Assist with additional property management responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications
  • Minimum of four years of property management experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong resident service and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, follow-up, and time-management abilities.
  • Careful attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible, dependable, and responsive when urgent matters arise outside normal business hours.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel between communities.
  • Availability to work one weekend day as part of the regular schedule. Preferred Experience
  • Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software.
  • Experience with residential leasing and resident retention.

Eight-hour shifts, including one weekend day

License:
