Job Description

We are a growing affordable housing company seeking wonderful people to join the team. Right now, our company is searching for a Property Manager for our two properties in Clarksville, TX to join our team. This is a high energy position and is responsible for the overall management of the community's leasing, maintenance, marketing and maintaining positive resident relations. This is a 40-hour/week position.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
: Generate revenue for community and handle resident relations. Ensure property is rented to fullest capacity. Maintain community appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed on timely basis. This requires regular community inspections and tours. Complete re-certification's annually in compliance with the Tax Credit program. Ensure deposits, rental payments and late/check charges are collected on timely basis. Deal with resident complaints, concerns, and requests in a timely basis to ensure resident satisfaction with management. To be considered for this role you must have: At least one year experience as a site manager A strong operations background Tax Credit, Rural Development, or public housing experience
  • preferred Strong management, leasing, and marketing skills Knowledge of state and federal regulations Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook The ability to read and interpret a variety of manuals and documents The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents, community, and city agencies A high school diploma or GED

  • required As a Property Manager you must be an excellent written and verbal communicator and listener with the ability to work to deadlines.
You must also be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
