JOB SUMMARY
The Property Assistant for Owner Services provides essential on-property support to the Owner Services team at Cinnamon Shore Vacation Rentals. This seasonal role assists with the day-to-day care of vacation rental homes, ensuring properties are well maintained, owner ready, and meeting CSVR standards. The Property Assistant serves as an extension of the Owner Services team, helping to bridge the gap between office operations and on-property needs.
KEY FUNCTIONS
On-Property Support:
Assist ORMs with on-property tasks including delivering items to homes, conducting property checks, and ensuring homes are guest and owner ready.
Package Handling:
Receive, open, label, and deliver packages to the correct homes in a timely manner. Update Breezeway tasks accordingly.
Owner Arrival Prep:
Help prepare homes for owner arrivals by ensuring all items are in place and the property meets CSVR standards.
Damage Waiver Support:
Assist with documenting and photographing damaged items in homes and communicating findings to OSC and ORM team.
Vendor Coordination Support:
Help coordinate vendors when needed to support OSC and ORMs.
Inventory Management:
Help maintain and organize inventory at the Owner Services office, including breaking down boxes, labeling items, and keeping the space organized.
Breezeway Task Management:
Assist with monitoring and updating Breezeway tasks assigned to Owner Services, ensuring nothing is missed or left unaddressed.
Property Inspections:
Assist with arrival inspections and property walk throughs, documenting findings and reporting any concerns to the ORM team.
Errands and Deliveries:
Run property related errands including picking up supplies, delivering items to homes, and supporting the team during peak season.
Adaptability:
Perform additional duties as needed to support the Owner Services team and overall departmental objectives. SKILLS Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once. Excellent communication skills — both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant direction. Comfortable working in a fast paced, high-volume environment. Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy and follow through. Proficiency with basic technology including mobile apps, email, and property management software (Breezeway experience a plus). Friendly, professional and service oriented demeanor.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in property management, hospitality, customer service or a related field preferred. Valid driver's license required — must be comfortable driving to and from properties throughout Cinnamon Shore.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Split between office and field work, expect to spend significant time on property visiting homes throughout Cinnamon Shore. Fast paced and team-oriented environment, especially during peak season. Must be comfortable working in outdoor conditions including Texas heat during summer months. Seasonal position with the potential to grow into a permanent role based on performance and availability.
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES
Ability to walk, stand and move around properties for extended periods including climbing stairs. Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds such as packages, supplies and equipment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
