The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property management principles, including compliance with Fair Housing regulations. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage tenant relationships while ensuring the properties are maintained to the highest standards.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday between 2pm-6pm Duties Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, and tenant relations. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other legal requirements. Process applications and conduct background checks for prospective tenants. Maintain accurate records through data entry in property management software such as Entrata. Negotiate lease agreements and renewals while ensuring adherence to company policies and legal standards. Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Coordinate maintenance requests and oversee repair work to ensure timely completion. Conduct regular property inspections to maintain quality standards and identify areas for improvement. File necessary documentation related to tenant agreements, maintenance requests, and financial records. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations is essential. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in phone etiquette. Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining positive relationships with tenants and vendors. Understanding of legal administrative processes related to property management is a plus.
