Job Description

Rosemead School District - Fully implemented in
BEST/HCM
system. Under the supervision of the Superintendent of Schools/Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services, the Director of Fiscal Services plans, directs and supervises the District-wide budget, business office functions, financial accounting and reporting, purchasing, warehouse and delivery operations of the District. This Cabinet level position requires providing advanced financial analysis, accounting expertise, and technical assistance to site leaders are other duties as well. The position also supports financial operations such as cash reconciliations, journal entries, interfund transfers, warrant processing, and coordination with partners including the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE), other county agencies, auditors, and state agencies. About the Employer... The Rosemead School District (RSD) is a public elementary school district that serves over 2,300 students in the city of Rosemead. Its four elementary schools and one middle school provide academic services and enrichment opportunities for students, teachers and the community, as well as critical business services for our schools. The district is led by five trustees who are collectively committed to positively supporting staff so that they can serve the best interests of students and families. RSD is also committed to quality professional development for all our staff members, collaborating with parents and community leaders, listening to students and aligning ourselves to proven, research based practices.
Pay:
$152,418.00 - $164,446.00 per year
