Circle of Hope is seeking a full-time, exempt Emergency Shelter Program Manager to lead the daily operations of our emergency shelter and 24/7 crisis hotline. This position ensures survivors of domestic violence receive safe, compassionate, trauma-informed, and victim-centered services. The Emergency Shelter Program Manager supervises shelter staff, coordinates shift coverage and on-call support, oversees program documentation and reporting, monitors safety and compliance requirements, and helps maintain a welcoming, respectful environment for residents and staff. The role also supports crisis counseling, case management, advocacy, transportation, life-skills programming, legal accompaniment, support groups, school-based advocacy, and other survivor services. This leadership position is responsible for staff recruitment, training, supervision, evaluation, and professional development; program budgeting and supply oversight; funder compliance; data collection; and preparation of required monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. The manager also represents Circle of Hope through community outreach, interagency collaboration, task force participation, and public-awareness activities across the tri-county service area.

Qualifications Applicants should have:

A bachelor's degree in social work or a related human-services field; a master's degree is preferred At least five years of social-service experience, including knowledge of domestic violence, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and survivor-centered services At least three years of supervisory experience Strong communication, documentation, organizational, computer, and time-management skills The ability to lead with empathy, professionalism, confidentiality, sound judgment, and a nonjudgmental approach Availability to respond to emergencies outside regular business hours, travel as needed, and work a flexible schedule Residential or shelter-setting experience is preferred Salary and continued employment are dependent upon available grant funding. Pay:
