Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence , the Life Enrichment Director leads innovative programs and experiences that enhance the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive well-being of Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. Responsibilities for
Life Enrichment Director:
Lead volunteer-based activities and enrichment programs that enhance the lives of Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. Collaborate with department leaders and the Executive Director to build and maintain relationships with local schools, businesses, and community organizations to develop a strong volunteer and resource network. Develop and maintain a comprehensive calendar of activities and events that promote resident engagement, family involvement, and meaningful experiences. Monitor and manage departmental budgets, expenses, and financial performance to ensure alignment with operational goals. Recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain a high-performing life enrichment team while fostering a culture of teamwork and engagement. Create innovative programs that support resident independence, cognitive stimulation, social connection, and overall well-being. Ensure activities and programs comply with all applicable state, federal, and organizational regulations. Evaluate program effectiveness and continuously enhance offerings based on resident interests and feedback. Qualifications for
Life Enrichment Director:
At least one (1) year of supervisory experience, preferably in senior living, recreation, or a related field. High school diploma required; college degree preferred. Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality programming. Ability to maintain required state-level certifications or licenses (such as CDL if applicable for resident transportation duties). Working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to resident services and care. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new systems and applications. Willingness to work evenings and weekends to meet resident needs and support special events.
