Assistant Program Director

Job Description

Assistant Program Director Mental Health Resources of Central PA is seeking an Assistant Program Director at the Cambria County Long Term Structured Residence (LTSR) and Stepping Stones Community Residential Rehabilitation (CRR). This position will split time between the LTSR, a specialized, community-based living arrangement designed to support individuals with chronic and severe mental illness who require ongoing care in a stable, therapeutic environment and the CRR, a transitional residential program in a community setting for adults with chronic psychiatric disability. As an Assistant Program Director , you assist in the supervision and operation of the LTSR and CRR through:
  • Monitoring program and staff compliance to all company policies and procedures and all regulatory standards established by OMHSAS.
  • Overseeing the daily clinical/psychiatric operations of the LTSR and CRR.
  • Creating, evaluating, and implementing individual treatment plans.
  • Supervising, training, and overseeing the performance management of all staff.
  • Directing and ensuring effectiveness of the program's daily operations including incident management.
  • Fulfilling duties and responsibilities of the Program Director in a temporary acting capacity in the absence of Program Director.
  • Providing coverage in emergency situations.
  • Participating in quality assurance/quality management (QM) activities related to the programs specified in the QM plan.
  • Acting ethically, with honesty and integrity, in the best interests of the organization at all times.
  • Contributing to a harmonious, safe and productive environment/culture through professional actions.
  • Complying with the facilities' privacy rules, policies and procedures, and obligations established by HIPPA.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in a clinical discipline and 2 years relevant mental health experience Will consider if in a Master's program Work well in a collaborative environment; having the ability to use creativity with problem solving and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong clinical skills and knowledge of the behavioral health system Excellent verbal/written communication skills Supervisory experience preferred.

$48,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
