Your role at
Tumi:
The Temporary Assistant Planner will play an instrumental role in driving the continuous evolution of Tumi's North America Merch Planning & Allocation function as we develop best-in-class capabilities. Reporting to the Director of Merchandise Planning, the Assistant Planner supports the team by providing reporting, tracking, forecasting, data analysis and execution support.
Specific activities can include:
Builds and updates business performance reporting Owns maintenance of pricing files and ensures accurate and timely execution of promotion Supports the monthly reforecasting and buy process by pulling and updating relevant data Supports the seasonal buy process by helping with new assortment adds and general SKU maintenance Conducts ad hoc analysis and data reconciliation Who we are: Since 1975, TUMI has been creating world-class business, travel and performance luxury essentials, designed to upgrade, uncomplicate, and beautify all aspects of life on the move. We're excited if you have: Bachelor's degree in related study 1+ years in Retail organization Advanced Excel skills and ability to adapt to new systems. Experience with PowerBI or other visualization software High attention to detail. Comfort and proficiency digging and wrangling data Effective communication skills Strong collaboration skills combined with the ability to listen and problem solve Analytical and problem-solving mindset Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities while working, fast paced, retail environment Self-starter with demonstrated initiative, ownership, and accountability Exhibits positive attitude, willingness to learn, collaborate, and takes direction well
