Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Job description: The Purchasing assistant is responsible to assist the procurement process, inventory oversight, and order fulfillment. This role ensures the timely replenishment of stock, manages inter-warehouse transfers, and oversees inventory reporting to maintain optimal stock levels. The Purchasing assistant will work closely with vendors, warehouse staff, and internal teams to ensure smooth purchasing and inventory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing & Re-Ordering:

Enter purchase orders (POs) for all warehouses Review re-stock alerts and ensure timely procurement of necessary inventory. Manage any internal stock warehouse transfers

Inventory Management:

Oversee sales orders for multiple DCs & coordinate trucking. Monitor out-of-inventory and execute necessary stock adjustments. Coordinate stock checks, review inventory documentation, and ensure accuracy in stock levels. Maintain accountability for all inventory movements and adjustments.

Order Processing & Fulfillment:

Work collaboratively with team members to prioritize and execute order processing efficiently.

Reporting & Analysis:

Generate and review PO Reports regularly to track pending purchase orders and follow up with vendors. Review items in depth to find additional opportunities Analyze the Re-Order Report to identify products that require replenishment. Monitor the Low Inventory Report to ensure proactive stock management and timely restocking.
