This role will assist with purchasing operations, vendor coordination, and inventory monitoring, while also helping to input and review bid sales orders to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.

Responsibilities:

Support the Purchasing team by following purchasing procedures and tracking orders to ensure on-time delivery. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation as directed. Conduct supplier and material analysis to support cost and quality improvements. Assist department and warehouse management with periodic Slow-Moving Product reports. Follow up on purchase orders to confirm correct pricing, terms, and specifications. Coordinate with the bid sales team to input and review orders, confirming that shipped quantities match orders. Handle special research projects for the department as needed. Work cross-functionally between Buying, Sales, and Operations to support business objectives. Monitor and replenish inventory to maintain optimal stock levels. Support execution of promotional pricing plans to increase sales and product turnover.

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience in purchasing, sales support, or analytics. Strong multitasking and organizational skills. Intermediate PC skills, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to problem-solve with an entrepreneurial attitude. Strong communication skills — able to interact clearly and professionally with internal teams and external vendors. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
