Holland America Denali Lodge Description Service Excellence. Performance. Integrity. Teamwork. Consistency. Innovation. Be a part of the restaurant team and help deliver our signature dishes to our guests. This role is a vital link between our talented kitchen team and our exceptional servers, making sure our guests' orders are accurately prepared and swiftly delivered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform a variety of entry-level restaurant tasks. Assist in the final preparation of dishes, including adding garnishes and ensuring presentation standards Responsible for inspecting dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature. Ensure food orders are served promptly and efficiently to the correct table in the restaurant while ensuring guest satisfaction and overall food quality. Assist staff with tasks such as prepping dishes or running food to tables.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in positions involving customer service or food and beverage service is preferred for this job. Must have or the ability to obtain a valid Alaska Food Handlers card. Must be able to lift 50 lbs./23kg. Must pass a pre-employment background check. Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals. Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards. Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day. Benefits Travel - FREE
