Construction Manager Position Overview Exquisite Pool and Spa seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Construction Assistant / Scheduler to support our pool construction operations from project start through completion. This position will play a key role in keeping projects on schedule, coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and field crews, and ensuring that the construction team has the information and materials needed to keep projects moving efficiently. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment, has excellent communication skills, and can manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time. Experience in pool construction, residential construction, scheduling, or project coordination is preferred but not required for the right candidate. Scheduling and Project Coordination Coordinate and maintain construction schedules for multiple residential pool projects Schedule subcontractors, crews, inspections, deliveries, equipment, and other project activities Communicate schedule updates and changes to homeowners, field personnel, subcontractors, and management Monitor project progress and identify scheduling conflicts or potential delays Follow up with subcontractors and vendors to confirm upcoming work and availability Help ensure projects move through each construction phase in the proper sequence Maintain accurate project calendars, schedules, and status updates Construction Administration Assist the Construction Manager with day-to-day project coordination Track outstanding items and follow up with the appropriate team member or subcontractor Review project information to help ensure crews have accurate plans, specifications, and customer selections Assist with material orders and delivery coordination Track materials and equipment needed for upcoming construction phases Enter and maintain project information in company software or scheduling systems Assist with preparing project updates and reports for management Field & Subcontractor Coordination Communicate daily or weekly schedules with field crews and subcontractors Confirm that subcontractors are prepared for scheduled work Help identify issues that could prevent a crew or subcontractor from completing scheduled work Assist in documenting project progress through photos, notes, and updates Qualifications Previous experience in construction, scheduling, project coordination, customer service, or a related field preferred Pool construction experience is a plus Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Strong attention to detail Comfortable communicating with homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, and employees Ability to learn construction management and scheduling software Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who likes to keep things organized and moving. You should be comfortable making phone calls, following up with people, solving scheduling problems, and keeping track of numerous details at once. This is a hands-on coordination position—not simply an administrative desk job. The successful candidate will become an important part of the construction team and will help ensure that projects stay organized, customers are informed, and crews have what they need to do their jobs.
Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
