Job Description

Health Force is a well established Medicare/Medicaid Home Health Agency specializing in providing home care to medically fragile infants, children and adults in their homes. We are currently seeking a motivated and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling all nursing (RN/LPN) field staff to ensure quality patient care and efficient staffing coverage.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:30a-4p Key Responsibilities Schedule/staff all RN/LPN Private Duty nursing (PDN) cases with qualified personnel. Confirm employee schedules and maintain scheduling accuracy within EMR system Communicate with Human Resources and managemnt to ensure employee records remain current and compliant Build and maintain positive relationships with patients and their families through regular communication regarding staffing needs, schedule changes and care-related updates Communicate daily with management, patients, family members, and nursing staff to address scheduling matters, including open shifts, missed shifts, and employee time-off requests. Assist with new employee orientation by explaining scheudling procedures, shift expectations, and work hours. Preform addisiontal clerical and administrative duties as assigned. This role includes being reachable by phone after hours and on weekends to respond to emergency call offs, and staffing needs.

Qualifications:

Experience with Axxess software preferred Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Home Health Care Experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment regulations Ability to successfully pass: -Level II Background screening - Drug screening
