About Code Green Response Code Green Response's mission is simple: provide emergency responders with the tools they need to help communities recover after natural disasters. CGR provides rapidly deployable workforce housing, mobile offices, power, sanitation services, transportation assets, and related operational support for utilities, government agencies, contractors, and large-scale projects. CGR is redefining how temporary basecamps are powered through next-generation solar and battery technology. From our manufacturing facility in Madison, Georgia, we incorporate solar panels and mobile battery systems directly into our core response units, helping reduce fuel dependence, noise, and logistical demands in the field. As our company expands, we are looking for a highly organized, resourceful professional to help stand up and support our new Florida office. The Role The Florida Operations Coordinator will be a key member of CGR's growing Florida operation. This is not a traditional office manager position. We are looking for someone who can keep the office organized and running effectively while also coordinating vendors, visiting project sites, solving logistical problems, and supporting field operations and emergency deployments. This position will operate with a high degree of independence. The right candidate will be an excellent communicator who is organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of assignments with limited supervision.
Responsibilities:

Manage CGR's Florida-specific licensing, registration, and compliance requirements, including applicable business and contractor registrations, vendor registrations, and operational permits. Maintain organized company records, contact lists, project files, and operational documentation. Help establish and maintain a reliable network of local vendors, equipment rental companies, service providers, and other resources capable of supporting CGR operations throughout Florida. Operational Coordination & Field Support Serve as an on-site point of contact for vendors, contractors, and site personnel, handling day-to-day logistics, scheduling, and follow-up. Assist with operational planning, logistics, scheduling, research, and project coordination. Conduct site visits and other field work as needed. Support the receiving and staging of equipment, supplies, and personnel when CGR deploys to projects in Florida. Coordinate local equipment rentals, services, supplies, and other resources needed to supplement CGR's primary fleet. Assist company leadership with reports, correspondence, meeting preparation, follow-up items, and other business support. Support hiring, onboarding, travel coordination, and related administrative needs. Occasionally assist affiliated BI companies with operational needs as appropriate. Emergency Response & Future Growth Assist with emergency-response and field operations when CGR activates in Florida or nearby states. Help maintain Florida operational readiness so CGR can respond quickly when equipment or personnel are deployed into the state. As CGR stations equipment in Florida, this role is expected to expand to include fleet administration. Qualifications 3+ years of professional experience in operations, administration, logistics, transportation, construction, emergency management, or a related environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously. Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, solve problems, and follow through on assignments. Professional and comfortable working with vendors, contractors, site personnel, government personnel, and company leadership. Proficiency with common business software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related applications; comfort using modern productivity and AI tools. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to travel within Florida and nearby states as needed. Willingness to occasionally support emergency operations outside normal business hours. Ability to successfully complete applicable background screening and driving-record checks as a condition of employment. Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following is a plus: National Guard or other military service FEMA, Florida Division of Emergency Management, or local emergency management Large-scale construction or infrastructure projects Transportation or logistics Utilities or disaster response A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Relevant professional, military, or operational experience may substitute for formal education. Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is mission-driven and likes to get things done. The ideal candidate is organized enough to keep an office and multiple projects running smoothly, professional enough to be a strong face for CGR in the field, and resourceful enough to be handed a problem and figure out how to solve it. This is an opportunity to join CGR at the beginning of our Florida expansion and help build the operational foundation for the company's growth in the state. Code Green Response is committed to building a team with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
