Scheduler Special Procedure- Surgery Administration - ( 260003MJ ) Description The Scheduler Special Procedure is responsible for collecting and documenting all essential information involved in scheduling procedures and creating hospital accounts. They demonstrate a strong grasp of ICD-10 and CPT codes. Their duties include thoroughly reviewing and assessing orders to ensure patients are appropriately prepared for necessary procedures. They excel at scheduling highly intricate invasive cases and appointments across various applications within EPIC. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital. Qualifications (2) two years experience or equivalent with scheduling and/or registration and/or insurance verification in a healthcare setting
