The Opportunity Our client is a large, 100% employee-owned construction organization with approximately 2,000 employees and a strong reputation for delivering complex commercial and industrial projects. They are seeking a Construction Scheduler to join their Omaha team and support a major, long-term construction program. This position will be heavily involved in a 7-year project with an approximately $41M budget , offering significant stability, project ownership, and the opportunity to become deeply embedded in a large, complex construction effort. What You'll Do In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional project teams to develop, maintain, and analyze schedules for large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities include:

Create and maintain detailed Primavera P6 project schedules Develop schedules that incorporate project activities, milestones, procurement items, approvals, and critical deliverables Build and maintain resource-loaded schedules aligned with overall project goals Monitor project progress against baseline schedules Identify scheduling risks, delays, and potential impacts before they affect project delivery Perform schedule variance, delay, risk, and time-impact analyses Prepare schedule-health reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for project leadership Partner directly with Project Managers on scheduling strategies and execution plans Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, safety, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders Participate in project meetings and provide insight into critical-path activities, milestones, and upcoming risks Assist with project cost and schedule completion forecasting Maintain accurate scheduling documentation and reporting Support internal scheduling processes and continuous improvement initiatives Provide guidance to less-experienced team members on scheduling software and best practices The role is highly collaborative and works alongside Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, QA/QC, Procurement, Safety, and other project leadership. What We're Looking For Must-Have Qualifications 2-5 years of construction scheduling experience Fluent Primavera P6 experience
