POSITION SUMMARY
Works Closely with patients in rescheduling appointments, answering phones, taking messages, and routing calls.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
a. High School diploma or equivalent required. b. Knowledge of medical terminology required or the completion of a medical terminology course in the first year of employment. c. Six months of office experience, preferably in a medical setting. d. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. e. Ability to work with people in a courteous and collegial manner. f. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. g. Must be able to change work priorities and cope with constant interruptions. h. Must have computer skills.
