Job Description Citizens 1st National Bank is looking for a Trust Operations Specialist to join our fast-paced, diversified, and growing wealth management department. The Trust Operations Specialist is responsible for the daily routine work of the bank's Trust & Wealth Management division and should possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills. This position requires extreme attention to detail and accuracy. Success in this role requires strong customer service skills and exceptional communication skills. Knowledge of individual and small business retirement plans, taxation, and a general understanding of investments is helpful.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Input of dividends and interest payments, as well as, newly purchased securities. Posting daily transactions for all types of Trust accounts including retirement and farm management. Balancing assets and preparing financial reports. Record debit and credit transactions and understand general ledger entries. Coordinate onboarding or transfer of assets. Ensure tax estimates are paid and all tax filings are complete in the appropriate timeframe. Answer phone calls and greet customers. Meet and greet customers. Assist in training new employees to ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
