Production Field Coordinator QCA Roofing | Romeoville, IL Full-Time | Field-Based /
In Person Pay:
$45,760-$52,000 per year, based on experience Build Projects. Solve Problems. Own the Details. QCA Roofing is growing, and we're looking for a Production Field Coordinator who takes ownership, communicates well, and knows how to keep things moving. This isn't a desk job—and it isn't simply a material-running position. You'll work directly with our Production Manager and serve as an important connection between our jobsites, crews, customers, materials, and office team . You'll spend much of your day in the field helping ensure projects are properly supplied, documented, communicated, inspected, and completed to QCA standards. This reflects the field-support and quality-control purpose established for the position. What You'll Do Visit jobsites before, during, and after installation to verify progress and readiness. Verify crews, materials, dumpsters, and other project requirements are in place. Pick up and deliver materials and supplies to jobsites as needed. Take and upload required project photos, notes, and documentation. Identify material shortages or production issues before they cause avoidable delays. Communicate directly with customers regarding project progress, scheduling, next steps, and updates. Assist with crew coordination and jobsite readiness. Complete final walkthroughs and verify quality and cleanup standards. Document and track punch-list items through resolution. Support warranty inspections and service calls. Maintain accurate project information in AccuLynx and company systems.
The goal is simple:
help keep projects moving and make sure they're truly finished—not simply installed. Who We're Looking For You don't need to know everything on day one—but you do need the right mindset. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, follows through, communicates when there's a problem, stays organized when priorities change, and thinks in terms of solutions rather than excuses. You'll likely thrive here if you're comfortable working independently, enjoy being active and in the field, communicate professionally with customers and crews, pay attention to details, and want measurable goals and opportunities to grow. Construction, roofing, or exterior remodeling experience is preferred. Initiative, reliability, and willingness to learn are essential. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2+ years of construction, roofing, exterior remodeling, or similar experience preferred. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable using mobile apps and project-management software. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work outdoors and travel between jobsites, suppliers, municipalities, and the QCA office. Ability to pass a background check. Experience with roofing, siding, gutters, AccuLynx, CompanyCam, or similar construction technology is a plus. Why QCA Roofing? Our culture is built around six core values: Inspirational. Disciplined. Aligned. Result Oriented. Accountable. Transparent. We believe in setting big goals, measuring performance, investing in training, and helping our team grow personally, professionally, and financially. Benefits include 401(k) with company match up to 4%, paid time off, performance-based bonus opportunities, paid training and coaching, professional development assistance, advancement opportunities, company-provided technology and tools, and stable year-round work. This position also offers a path toward greater responsibility within Production Management, Project Management, Operations, and leadership as QCA continues to grow. Schedule Monday-Friday | Weekends as needed This is a full-time, in-person field position with regular travel throughout the workday. The Production Field Coordinator reports directly to the Production Manager and works closely with our production, sales, office, and subcontractor teams.
