6+ month engagement with opportunity for extension Part time role up to 30 hours per week Mostly remote with some task specific in office time We are looking for a Production Coordinator to support a high-visibility corporate convention in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position will partner closely with the Project Manager to keep activities moving forward, maintain clear communication across stakeholders, and help organize schedules from planning through execution. The ideal candidate brings strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and previous exposure to video-related productions or event content workflows.
Responsibilities:
Support the Project Manager by tracking deliverables, following up on action items, and helping keep convention-related initiatives on schedule.
Build and maintain detailed project timelines, ensuring milestones, dependencies, and deadlines are clearly documented and communicated.
Coordinate day-to-day production activities to help align teams, resources, and event priorities throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate communication among internal partners, vendors, and creative contributors to promote timely updates and smooth execution.
Assist with planning and organizing production elements connected to video or multimedia projects tied to the convention.
Monitor budget-related information, help track project expenses, and escalate risks or variances when needed.
Prepare status updates, meeting notes, and project documentation so stakeholders have accurate visibility into progress.
Identify scheduling conflicts or operational gaps early and work with the team to support practical solutions.
Contribute to production planning efforts by helping organize workflows, materials, and logistics for upcoming deliverables.
