Job Description

Role Support the production department with effective process monitoring and improvements to produce high quality parts in a safe, cost efficient manner. Comply with all company safety, quality and environmental standards. Responsibilities 1. Monitor and track department OEE results. 2. Monitor and track department scrap results. 3. Monitor and track department down time results. 4. Lead the department Kaizen program. 5. Support investigating and completing corrective actions for all safety concerns within your department (SCARs) 6. Support creating and maintaining controlled documents outlining proper methods for all department procedures (FMEA, CP, WS, VA, CS) 7. Support investigating and completing corrective actions for all quality concerns within your department (MNCRs) 8. Promote and ensure conformance to the company's
ISO 14001
procedures (recycling, reducing waste) 9. Promote and ensure conformance to the company's
IATF 16949
procedures (work standards, check sheets, regulations, quality manual) 10. Promote and ensure a positive and effective working environment. 11. Knowledge of company policies (free of discrimination, harassment, violence, drugs, and alcohol). 12. Knowledge and experience of departmental machines, equipment and procedures. 13. Effectively communicate with management, direct supervisor and associates 14. Attend meetings as needed to assist with department continuous improvements and corrective actions. 15. Additional projects assigned by management Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements 1. Degree in Industrial Technology or related field or equivalent work experience. Preferred Skills/Experience 1. Manufacturing environment 2. Trouble shooting/root cause analysis 3. Computer knowledge Environmental/Working Conditions 1. Essential functions of this job require the associate to regularly: sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, carry and lift PPE as required by company policy
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
