Production Coordinator

Job Description

Job Overview The Production Coordinator is responsible for the processing of all work orders, auditing of material usage, and support the scheduling of work orders for the plant's production team. This position is expected to work well with the production team on the floor and the scheduling team by communicating effectively, and in a timely manner regarding all inventory transactions. Duties and Responsibilities Review production schedules and related information to determine material requirements Work with the Production Manager and Team Leads to continuously audit work order processing and workflows Effectively help manage inventory of all raw and finished material on work orders to minimize variance dollars Regularly conduct raw material audits to reflect what was used on specific work orders • Compile, audit, and process work order documentation Support the Scheduling Team by creating and plotting work orders Be able and willing to communicate with the production team to problem solve any variances and work order discrepancies Be open and available to perform any task assigned to by the direct supervisors Other duties may be assigned or reassigned at any time. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Organized, analytical thinker, and problem solver. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel Strong interpersonal communication skills; written and verbal Excellent organizational skills Great attention to detail with a results driven approach • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Education and Experience Two year's related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
