Create monthly work rotations & schedules using Kronos Staffing Software. Enter schedule into computer payroll program. Make changes on master schedule as required including sick time, personal days, emergency vacation days, etc. Create daily work schedules and assign extra duties on all shifts as needed. Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly schedules are updated on paper and in UKG Monday-Friday to ensure accuracy. Call in personnel as required following facility overtime guidelines; Ensuring shifts are fully staffed. Keep track of switches in schedule according to facility policy. Must be able to follow our Mandation Policy. Make sure part-time nurses, OT CNA's, LPN OT, transport fill-ins are all in place and updated for staff to use. Coordinate all payroll timecards and issues by acting as the payroll liaison between the Payroll Department and the facility Tracking Attendance & Tardiness; reporting to DON & ADON's Managing recruitment needs by determining open positions. Attends and participates in continuing educational programs. Able to follow and understand policies and procedures and union contracts regarding scheduling, vacations, etc. Other reasonable duties/directions as assigned by Administrator, DON, or ADON's.
Education and Training:
The Scheduling Clerk must have an Associate's Degree and/or 4 years of equivalent experience.
Skills and Abilities:
Must be in good mental and physical condition. Must have strong inter-personal, organizational and problem-solving skill with attention to detail. Strong ability to multi-task; changing course with a positive attitude is required. Must be pleasant and dependable with professional phone etiquette. Must be dependable with excellent customer service and communication skills; written and verbal.
