The Production Control Coordinator is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through effective planning, inventory control, reporting, and system transactions. This role ensures materials availability, accurate production data, and timely communication across departments to maintain efficient production flow and inventory accuracy. Why Standard Iron?

Shift:
Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Production & Inventory Control Receive and process Purchase Orders (POs) for raw materials. Enter purchase orders and requisitions into the ERP system. Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies. Monitor and report on slow-moving inventory. Close production jobs in the system upon completion. Run negative inventory report, investigate and correct errors. Review and document job variance notes related to material. Maintain notes for missing first ship dates Receiving & Accounts Payable Support Verify quantities received and match against PO requirements. Scan and forward POs and receiving documentation to Accounts Payable (AP). Investigate and resolve quantity received error reports. Process and resolve transaction errors related to receiving and inventory movements. Reporting & Data Accuracy Generate and maintain required reports, including but not limited to: RRT reports ISISR report Transaction Error Processing Report Wanding Errors Report Quantity Received Error Reports Ensure timely and accurate reporting of production and inventory data. Identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities within reports. Production Documentation & Communication Create and maintain cropping notes and other production-related documentation. Communicate effectively with Production and Purchasing as needed. Support continuous improvement efforts related to inventory accuracy and production efficiency.
