Job Description
Starrett Tru-Stone Technologies is an industry leading manufacturer of precision granite solutions. We are in an environmentally controlled manufacturing facility utilized for precision granite, ceramic, carbon fiber and other medium used in precision metrology applications to manufacturer custom precision granite machine bases and accessories. We are looking for detail oriented, quality minded Production Planning & Scheduling Coordinator candidate to join our team of professionals. This position will develope, manage and coordinate daily/weekly production schedules, align materials and capacity, and keep manufacturing operations on track through proactive communication and real‑time adjustments. Note-this is not a hybrid nor remote position.

HSA. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for scheduling and coordinating the work activities and resources for manufacturing products in accordance with quoted specifications. Review customer purchase orders to ensure consistency with quoted information. Enter customer orders into the ERP system and schedule jobs based on customer requested date, material availability and capacity. Create shop floor job packages (travelers, prints, quality documents, etc.) and distribute / release to the shop floor. Review manufacturing documents prior to release to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications. Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, etc. Collaborate with Management, Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Shipping and Production regarding schedules and shipments. Provide Engineering and Sales with lead times and notification of production issues that may affect customer commitments. Monitor production activities to ensure orders are shipped on-time. Review shop capacity and workloads to assist in determining labor and equipment requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of business and management principles in regards to strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Prefer 3 or more years of scheduling experience in a high mix, low volume manufacturing environment using an ERP system (JobBoss experience desirable) Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word
