TSGBH is seeking a dependable, organized, and personable Office Operations & Community Engagement Coordinator to support our Elizabethtown office and help expand our services into surrounding counties. Our office is located in Bladen County. This position will help maintain reliable local operations while building community relationships and supporting access to services throughout the surrounding region. The role combines office administration, intake assistance, client follow-up, and community outreach. Your schedule will include designated office hours and planned field visits, with outreach territories and priorities established by leadership. What You Will Do Office Operations and Program Support Maintain a welcoming, organized office during scheduled hours. Coordinate office calendars, appointments, meeting spaces, and room availability. Prepare the office for client visits, staff meetings, and scheduled services. Help clients use office technology to attend virtual appointments with remote providers. Monitor office supplies and report equipment or facility needs. Support program managers with local scheduling, administrative tasks, and service coordination. Track operational concerns and follow up with the appropriate staff member. Documentation Follow-Up Use approved checklists to identify missing forms, incomplete administrative information, and overdue documentation. Send reminders and track outstanding items. Bring unresolved documentation concerns to the responsible program manager. Maintain accurate records and protect confidential information. Intake and Client Access Respond professionally to inquiries and explain how to request services. Assist with approved intake paperwork, information collection, and appointment scheduling. Coordinate handoffs to intake staff and program teams. Follow up on assigned referrals to help people complete the next step. Help identify barriers involving transportation, scheduling, paperwork, or technology. Make scheduled, approved visits to clients' homes or other agreed locations when needed to assist with intake or access to services. Client Experience and Quality Follow-Up Complete assigned client check-ins using agency-approved questions. Ask whether services have started, appointments are accessible, and concerns need attention. Document feedback and promptly report concerns to the appropriate manager. Follow up to confirm that concerns have been addressed or assigned for further action. Community Engagement and Regional Expansion Represent TSGBH professionally in Bladen County and surrounding counties. Help introduce TSGBH services to new communities and develop ongoing referral relationships. Build relationships with healthcare offices, social service agencies, nonprofits, faith organizations, and other approved community partners. Conduct planned partner visits and attend approved community events within assigned counties. Explain available services accurately and connect interested individuals with intake. Maintain records of outreach, partner contacts, referrals, and follow-up commitments. Share community needs, service gaps, and expansion opportunities with leadership. Follow an outreach schedule that balances regional growth with office and client-support responsibilities. What Success Looks Like Success in this role means: Scheduled office coverage is dependable, and appointments and meeting spaces are prepared. Assigned inquiries, referrals, and intake tasks receive timely follow-up. Missing documentation is tracked and brought to the appropriate staff member's attention. Client feedback is recorded and concerns are escalated appropriately. Community partners receive consistent communication and follow-through. New relationships in surrounding counties help appropriate prospective clients connect with available services. This position begins with a 60-day introductory performance period . Priorities and goals will be reviewed with your supervisor based on assigned hours, service needs, and available program capacity. Qualifications A college degree is not required. We are looking for someone who: Is dependable, organized, and able to follow through on multiple responsibilities. Communicates clearly and treats clients, staff, and community partners with respect. Is comfortable greeting visitors, making phone calls, and introducing the agency to new organizations. Can work independently while knowing when to ask for guidance. Handles confidential information carefully. Can use email, calendars, basic computer systems, and virtual meeting technology. Has reliable transportation for approved travel throughout the assigned service area. Is comfortable making scheduled community and client-home visits. Experience in office administration, healthcare, behavioral health, human services, intake, customer service, care coordination, or community outreach is helpful. Familiarity with Bladen County and surrounding communities is a plus. Role Boundaries This is an administrative and community engagement position. Clinical assessments, treatment decisions, service eligibility determinations, and clinical supervision are handled by designated qualified staff. Employees must follow agency privacy, safety, documentation, and outreach procedures. This position does not authorize promises of insurance coverage or service eligibility, incentives for referrals, or unapproved solicitation at private residences.
Schedule and Compensation Part-time:
20 hours per week.
Starting pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour. Most hours occur during normal weekday business hours. Based at the Elizabethtown office, with scheduled travel throughout Bladen County and assigned surrounding counties. Work includes office coverage, community outreach, and approved client visits. Approved mileage reimbursement provided. Increased hours and expanded responsibilities may be considered based on performance and agency needs.
