Serve as the site SME for fall protection programs, including harness assembly, issuance, inspection, maintenance, and disassembly.
Conduct and manage quarterly harness inspections.
Serve as the SME for tool tethering and dropped object prevention programs.
Administer and manage the Mission Planning Worksheet (MPW) process to ensure compliance and effectiveness. Training and Development
Deliver training programs related to: o Fall protection and fall lab activities o Tool tethering and small tools safety o Mission Planning Worksheets (MPWs)
Coach employees on hazard recognition, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to improve project safety performance.
Provide leadership coaching and support development of leadership competencies among team members.
Mentor personnel and provide learning opportunities that support career growth and advancement in construction operations. Field Operations Support
Conduct field audits and safety observations in: o Ground-level work areas o Elevated work locations o Equipment operations o Spotter and flagger activities o Other project work environments
Assess compliance with safety procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Support project leadership in maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Additional safety, construction, leadership, or technical training preferred. Experience
Minimum of 5 years of construction field experience required.
At least 2 years of experience in safety, quality, supervisory, or leadership roles is preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of construction safety practices, hazard recognition, and risk mitigation. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of fall protection principles and dropped object prevention programs.
Excellent coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills.
Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to conduct field audits and safety assessments.
Ability to influence safe work behaviors and foster a positive safety culture.
Proficient in: o Microsoft Word o Microsoft Excel o Microsoft PowerPoint o Microsoft Access o Microsoft Windows o SIMS or similar project management/safety systems Physical Requirements Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to walk construction sites and access various work areas. Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments. Must possess close, distance, and depth perception with the ability to adjust focus as required.
