Monday-Friday, daytime hours About the Position Carolina Printing Signs & Lighting LLC is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Front Office & Production Coordinator to join our growing team. This is more than a traditional receptionist position. This person will be the connection between our customers, front office, and production team. You will help make sure orders are entered correctly, customers receive updates, approvals and deposits are collected, and jobs continue moving through production. Our company produces signs, banners, vehicle graphics, DTF transfers, printed apparel, embroidery, and other custom products. Our shop can be fast-paced, and priorities can change throughout the day. Previous sign or printing experience is NOT required. We are willing to train the right person. We're looking for someone who is organized, communicates well, learns quickly, takes initiative, and can eventually handle much of the daily front-office workflow independently. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls, texts, emails, and customer questions Greet and assist walk-in customers Gather complete and accurate information for new orders and quote requests Enter and maintain customer orders Collect deposits and customer payments Track artwork proofs and customer approvals Follow up with customers when information or approval is needed Communicate job priorities and deadlines with production Help organize the daily production workload Monitor orders as they move through production Identify jobs approaching deadlines Notify customers when orders are completed Coordinate customer pickups Keep customer messages, orders, and follow-ups organized Maintain an organized and professional front-office area Learn our products, services, pricing, and ordering processes Help resolve routine customer questions and issues Assist with general office and production coordination as needed Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Is highly organized and detail-oriented Has excellent customer-service skills Communicates professionally in person, over the phone, by text, and through email Is comfortable handling multiple responsibilities at once Can prioritize tasks when several things need attention Takes initiative instead of waiting to be told every individual task Follows through on assignments and customer requests Is comfortable using computers and learning new software Can stay professional when things get busy Is dependable and punctual Works well with a team Is willing to learn Wants a long-term position with room to grow Helpful Experience Previous experience in any of the following is helpful but not required: Customer service, office administration, scheduling, dispatching, order processing, automotive service, construction office administration, project coordination, printing/sign production, or another fast-paced service business. We can teach the sign and printing industry. We're looking for the right person first. What Success Looks Like After training, you should become increasingly independent in handling customer communication, entering orders, tracking approvals, monitoring deadlines, and coordinating with production. Orders should be entered correctly. Customers should receive responses. Deposits and approvals should be collected. Production should know what needs attention. Customers should be notified when their orders are ready.
The goal is simple:
keep customers informed, keep jobs moving, and make sure things don't fall through the cracks. Pay & Growth $15.00-$19.00 per hour Starting pay will be based on experience, skills, and demonstrated ability. There is opportunity for increased responsibility and compensation as you learn our business and demonstrate the ability to independently coordinate customer orders, front-office responsibilities, and production workflow.
