We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Home Care Scheduler to support our growing healthcare team. This role helps ensure clients receive reliable, uninterrupted care by coordinating caregiver and nursing schedules, maintaining coverage, and serving as a key communication link among clients, families, caregivers, nurses, and office staff. What You'll Do Scheduling & Staffing
Keep client shifts staffed and schedules current.
Schedule new clients and coordinate care start dates.
Match caregivers and nurses with clients based on skills, availability, and compatibility.
Coordinate caregiver orientations and training shifts. Communication & Coordination
Communicate schedule changes to clients, families, nurses, and case managers.
Keep caregivers informed of schedule updates and client status changes.
Partner with office staff to support consistent, high-quality care. Documentation
Maintain accurate scheduling, payroll, and client notes in agency systems.
Document communications and changes according to company policies. Backup On-Call Support
Provide backup support to on-call schedulers as needed.
Respond to staffing call-offs and scheduling emergencies.
Coordinate timely communication among caregivers, clients, and on-call nursing staff. Qualifications The ideal candidate stays calm under pressure, remains highly organized, and can coordinate multiple priorities while keeping client care at the center of every decision. Required
High school diploma or GED.
1-2 years of scheduling, staffing, dispatch, workforce coordination, or similar experience.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes and interruptions.
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn scheduling software quickly.
Excellent phone, text, and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize competing needs and solve staffing issues independently.
Dependable attendance and punctuality. Preferred
Experience in home care, home health, healthcare staffing, assisted living, long-term care, hospital staffing, or a medical office setting.
Experience scheduling a large hourly workforce across multiple clients, locations, or shifts.
Experience managing call-offs, open shifts, overtime, availability, PTO, and last-minute schedule changes.
Familiarity with WellSky or another healthcare or workforce scheduling platform.
Experience communicating with caregivers, CNAs, nurses, clients, and families.

Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
