Essential Skills Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree. Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Planning, Scheduling, or Production Control, preferably within complex electromechanical equipment manufacturing. Demonstrated experience building and adjusting production schedules and owning end-to-end work order execution. Hands-on experience utilizing SAP MRP in a manufacturing environment for material planning, inventory management, production scheduling, and supply chain operations. Strong understanding of MRP outputs as execution signals rather than long-range supply planning tools. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools. Strong production execution mindset with the ability to make frequent, time-sensitive scheduling decisions. Comfortable working directly with Manufacturing Supervisors and Project Managers on the shop floor. Strong problem-solving skills with a bias toward action and schedule recovery. Detail-oriented approach with strong ownership of work orders, commitments, and data accuracy. Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, WIP control, and production flow is preferred.
