Job Description
Operations Coordinator 55 Trucking, LLC is a family owned and operated, for hire trucking company in Winnemucca, NV. We have been in the freight hauling business since 1998, hauling aggregates, pipe, hay, livestock, and more across the local region. We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to manage recruiting, safety and compliance, and fleet maintenance records. Ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail and an understanding of the trucking industry. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Recruit and screen qualified CDL-A drivers
- Ensure compliance with
FMCSA/DOT
regulations- Manage and oversee safety meetings for drivers and other personnel
- Schedule and track general maintenance for fleet equipment
- Manage parts inventory
- Maintain maintenance, safety, and compliance records Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel, have experience using social media & online sourcing tools, and be a great self-starter.
