Job Description
Ellison Bronze, Inc. Falconer, NY Full Time (40 hours/week) Stockroom Operations Associate Longstanding Jamestown area manufacturer seeking a stockroom operations associate who is self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and team oriented with the ability to work independently. Candidate should possess both good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to navigate windows and perform data-entry tasks essential. Previous experience with Inventory and/or with ERP/MRP software a plus. Candidate must have the knowledge & ability to perform the following tasks: General managing of plant inventory/collaborating with Purchasing Manager. Receive and Inspect all incoming material. Perform multiple data entry/tracking entries in company inventory software (balanced hardware, issuing material to contracts, material lists, t-orders, parts number entry, etc.) Wrap/Inspect material for outsourcing/sales orders Identify/Initiate non-conformances Load/Unload trucks Perform cycle counts Maintain calibration log Rotate stock as needed Distribute supplies to other department foreman as they are needed Delivery and/or pickup material from local vendors as needed Regularly check/respond to phone calls/emails Regularly maintain supply of misc. hardware items (ie: screws) Process Ups shipments Regular coordination with Plant Manager regarding incoming/outgoing materials Starting salary will be commensurate with previous experience/education/expertise in the area of crib management/inventory control in manufacturing.
