• About Us
• For Her NYC is a women's apparel company. We work with a core group of 5 long-term factory partners in China, plus a few others as needed. We're a small team of about 10, so you'll learn how the whole business works, not just one piece of it.
• About the Role
• You'll be the link between our design team and our factories, making sure every style is sampled, approved and produced correctly and on time.

Small details matter here:

a wrong measurement, fabric or care label can delay a shipment. We're looking for someone careful and organized who enjoys following up until every detail is right.

• We will fully train you
• on our workflow and systems. You don't need to know everything on day one. You do need to be sharp, reliable and detail-oriented.
• A Typical Day
• 9:00-12:00: factory follow-up.
• Work with our team to review samples, pricing, ETAs and open issues with our China factories before their workday ends. Being on time every morning is essential.
• Afternoons:
• Update sample and production tracking in Excel and WinFashion, coordinate with design, follow up on approvals, and fix missing or incorrect information.
• Ongoing:
• Send swatches, fabric and samples to vendors, check samples against tech packs, and flag problems early.
• Requirements
• 1-3 years in apparel production, merchandising or sourcing,
• or•a recent merchandising, business or fashion graduate with strong internships•Very detail-oriented.

• Strong Excel skills and clear, professional written English
• Reliable attendance and on time for our 9:00 a.m. factory window
• Able to commute to New Hyde Park, NY, Monday through Friday
• Nice to Have
• Knowledge of women's garment construction, fit and tech packs
• Experience with WinFashion or a similar ERP system
• Mandarin Chinese is a plus, but not required
• Please note: this is a production role, not a design or graphic design position.
