Employee discounts 401(k) matching Flexible schedule Opportunity for advancement Signing bonus Training & development Benefits/Perks Flexible Scheduling Competitive Compensation Careers Advancement Job Summary Professional Healthcare Solutions is seeking a friendly, organized, dependable, and community-oriented Bilingual Office & Community Outreach Assistant who is fluent in both English and Nepali . This position provides administrative support to the PHCS office while helping Nepali-speaking individuals and families communicate effectively with our organization and better understand available home and community-based care services. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, basic computer knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and familiarity with the Nepali community in Northeast Ohio. Responsibilities Coordinate internal and external staffing needs Assign clients to the appropriate clinicians Use cloud-based scheduling software Maintain an up-to-date list of on-call and backup staff and use to secure last-minute coverage Communicate with caregivers regarding any updates or changes to their schedule Communicate with managers and clients to inform them of any schedule or staffing changes Assist in the hiring, training, and management of new staff Community Outreach Help introduce PHCS to the Nepali/Bhutanese-Nepali community throughout Northeast Ohio. Develop positive relationships with community organizations, churches, temples, cultural organizations, grocery stores, restaurants, apartment communities, senior housing, and other community partners. Distribute approved PHCS educational and marketing materials. Assist with community health fairs, hiring events, informational sessions, and outreach activities. Help identify appropriate community events where PHCS can provide information about home-care services. Assist interested individuals and families with contacting the appropriate PHCS staff member to learn more about services. Maintain an outreach contact log documenting organizations visited, contacts made, materials distributed, and appropriate follow-up activities. Minimum Qualifications Must be able to speak and understand both English and Nepali fluently . Ability to read and write in both languages is strongly preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Previous office, customer service, healthcare, social-service, or community-outreach experience preferred. Basic proficiency with computers, email, Microsoft Word, and office equipment. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Professional telephone and customer-service etiquette. Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information. Dependable, punctual, professional, and able to work independently. Knowledge of Northeast Ohio's Nepali/Bhutanese-Nepali community is highly preferred. Reliable transportation for approved community-outreach activities preferred.
