The Production Expeditor coordinates the flow of work and materials between departments.

PAY:

$27-30hr

Production Expeditor Responsibilities:

Facilitate the efficient flow of materials and jobs on the manufacturing floor Work with production managers to identify issues or constraints and communicate impact to appropriate parties Track expedited and/or key jobs to ensure they remain on track. Provide solutions to realign jobs that are off schedule. Provide analysis on potential expedites including impacts on existing schedules Perform as liaison between PM/Sales and Production groups Other duties as requested

Production Expeditor Qualifications:

2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, industrial machining or fabrication assembly environment working with metal or plastic Previous production planning or expediting experience Excellent organizational skills Able to work within the MS Office suite environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels and disciplines Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles in a low volume manufacturing environment Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs
