Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Coordinator to oversee and streamline manufacturing operations within our supply chain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in production planning, inventory management, and supply chain management, with expertise in ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle. As a key member of our team, you will coordinate production schedules, optimize resource utilization, and ensure seamless communication across departments to meet demand forecasts and maintain operational excellence. Responsibilities Ensure adherence to safety protocols and report any safety hazards during production. Serve as a professional representative of DMC/DynaEnergetics within the local community, upholding the company's values, safety standards, and quality objectives. Perform daily activities utilizing the SAP inventory control system and other ERP tools to manage inventory and track production progress. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with supervisors, co-workers, and customers to align on production goals, timelines, and any challenges. Assist in production control activities to meet business and financial objectives, ensuring that targets are achieved efficiently and on time. Work with Supervisors to plan and manage production tasks, optimize schedules, and improve runtime. Review production plans, identify potential risks or delays, and report findings to the Supervisors with recommended corrective actions. Assist in processing orders and shipments according to established schedules, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Follows all 5S practices and supports lean activities, as well as safety regulations policies and procedures Support Supervisors in controlling production costs while maintaining quality standards. • Establish priorities and adjust schedules as directed by the planner, ensuring smooth workflows. Stay up-to-date with company objectives, production strategies, and supporting activities to ensure alignment with production requirements. Plan and monitor material movement throughout the production cycles to ensure continuous operations. Collaborate with Supervisors to resolve production planning issues, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption. Work with Supervisors to prepare, review, and approve job order documents, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality Control, Engineering, etc.) to ensure job orders are completed on time and meet customer specifications. Regularly communicate production updates to planning team, highlighting any challenges and proposed solutions. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize operations. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Required to work overtime, holidays and weekends as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with courses. Associates or bachelor's degree preferred. Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred; 2 yrs desired) Must be able to pass ATF clearance check Record Keeping Inventory Audits Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office(Excel) products are required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in SAP and other ERP systems. Experience in manufacturing. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment. Problem-solving skills and ability to handle production challenges efficiently. Familiarity with safety regulations and production quality standards. Attention to detail and accuracy in production planning and documentation. Continuous Improvement knowledge preferred.
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
