POSITION DETAILS

This position entails answering phones and taking work calls for a plumbing service business. It involves giving price information to customers, writing up service calls and assisting in forming the schedule for a fleet of plumbers in an online scheduling software, routing plumbers between calls, assisting with writing up invoices, processing daily paperwork for services performed as well as payments, ordering parts, checking in/putting away parts, pulling permits/scheduling inspections, and many other office/shop related duties. (Candidate will work under the office manager.) The person in this position must be able to learn aspects of the plumbing trade such as quoting costs, a knowledge of what questions to ask when scheduling work to allow enough time on schedules to perform the work, and communicating the related info with customers and plumbers clearly, etc. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and desires to help advance the company. This job is very fast paced at times. Your personality and skill set must be such that this is something you can handle without issue. Given the nature of this position, the person must be extremely dependable. This person must be present during their work scheduled hours when they have not scheduled off in advance unless it is absolutely necessary to be absent. Given the level of training and investment that is needed for a person in this position, we are looking for someone who is desiring a long term career with us and our shop family.
