Floral Operations Specialist Location:

Part-Time Job Overview:
The Floral Operations Specialist at The Design Haus plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and success of every event. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory standards, executing event setups and strikes, and collaborating closely with the Operations Lead. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where excellence is non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Handling +
Quality Assurance:
Ensure inventory is organized, maintained, and meets The Design Haus's quality standards. Implement and monitor quality control procedures for installations and event execution. Organize inventory for efficiency and accessibility. Event Execution (Set-Up / Strike): Safely pack, transport, and set up inventory and designs and remove them after an event. Recover and organize items after events.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations. Maintain a safe working environment for all staff and oversee the proper handling of flowers and equipment.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of floral design and the wedding/event industry (a plus) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Valid driver's license and ability to drive delivery vans/box truck Have reliable transportation Ability to lift and carry 30+ pounds Ability to stand for an extended period
