Are you a seasoned maintenance professional with a knack for strategic planning and scheduling? Do you thrive in dynamic environments like the oil and gas industry? We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Scheduler to join our team at Sabine Pass, TX. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to shape maintenance operations, optimize resource utilization, and uphold safety and compliance standards over an initial 12-month contract with potential for renewal. As a Maintenance Scheduler, you will develop and manage detailed, effective maintenance schedules that ensure seamless workflow and maximum equipment uptime. You will coordinate across teams, leverage your technical expertise in SAP S4 HANA and Prometheus, and utilize your innovative mindset to implement cutting-edge scheduling tools and practices. Your strategic input will directly impact operational efficiency and safety compliance, making this a highly impactful position for a proactive, detail-oriented professional. What You Need for
Success:
Extensive hands-on experience with SAP S4 HANA and Prometheus2 scheduling tools. Minimum of 5+ years in maintenance scheduling within oil, gas, or petrochemical facilities. Strong understanding of equipment types and maintenance/inspection regulatory requirements. Proficiency with scheduling and project management software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar. Knowledge of rigging, scaffolding, welding, fabrication, and heavy equipment operations is a plus. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills. Have Skills:
Experience with digital automation tools and AI-driven predictive scheduling solutions. Proven track record in optimizing maintenance frequency and resource leveling. Familiarity with PHMSA regulatory standards. Additional certifications such as TWIC, OSHA, or relevant technical licenses.
Preferred Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational degree a plus. 5+ years of hands-on maintenance scheduling experience in a regulated oil and gas or petrochemical setting.
Additional Requirements:
Valid TWIC card in good standing and a current, valid driver's license. Ability to work in both office and field environments with physical requirements including lifting, climbing, and walking.
