Production & Scheduling Coordinator

Job Description

Position Summary This role is responsible for keeping screen printing, embroidery, and other decoration orders organized, scheduled, and moving on time across both outside contract decorators and internal production so that all products are available as intended. This is a highly detail-oriented coordination role for someone who naturally thinks several days and weeks ahead. The Production & Scheduling Coordinator maintains visibility across many simultaneous orders, identifies potential problems before they become production emergencies, and ensures vendors, internal teams, materials, approvals, freight, and deadlines remain aligned. Ideal Candidate This position is less about reacting to scheduling emergencies and more about preventing them. You look at an order due three weeks from now and immediately start thinking about what needs to happen tomorrow to make sure it arrives on time. You like calendars, spreadsheets, checklists, systems, and knowing exactly where things stand. You're comfortable using ERP/WMS systems, production trackers, Google Sheets, and other tools to maintain that visibility. When you don't know, you find out—you pick up the phone, follow up, and stay on something until you get the answer you need. You're comfortable managing several vendors and dozens of moving orders simultaneously. You understand how changes to one part of a schedule affect everything downstream, and when something looks like it might become a problem next week, you address it today. You don't need experience in apparel or decoration to be successful here. Strong scheduling and coordination experience in manufacturing, construction, field service, installation, logistics, facilities, printing, purchasing, or another deadline-driven environment can translate very well to this role.
