This position serves as a key connection between customers, sales, design, and production, ensuring jobs are scheduled accurately, materials are available, deadlines are met, and finished products meet Jet Press quality standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment. Essential Responsibilities
Coordinate production schedules and prioritize jobs according to customer deadlines and company requirements.
Review work orders, proofs, specifications, and production requirements for accuracy before jobs enter production.
Communicate with sales, design, production staff, vendors, and customers regarding job status and requirements.
Track jobs throughout the production process and provide timely updates when schedules change.
Ensure necessary materials, supplies, files, and equipment are available before production begins.
Identify potential production problems, scheduling conflicts, or material shortages and resolve them proactively.
Prepare and organize job tickets, production paperwork, and other documentation.
Coordinate finishing, packaging, pickup, delivery, or installation requirements as needed.
Perform quality-control checks to ensure completed work matches approved specifications.
Help maintain an organized, safe, and efficient production area.
Monitor inventory of commonly used production materials and communicate purchasing needs.
Coordinate with outside vendors when specialized printing, finishing, materials, or services are required.
Maintain accurate records of job progress, completion, and delivery.
Assist with general production duties when needed to keep projects moving.
Follow company safety procedures and established production standards.
Perform other duties related to production coordination as assigned.
