Lotus Lifestyle

Director of Brand Operations & Education

Job Description

The Opportunity Lotus Plant Power already wins. We built the #1 plant-based energy concentrate in the country through foodservice, and now the ready-to-drink consumer line is scaling fast into national retail: Walmart, Costco, Kroger, Amazon, and the next wave of doors. Growth at this speed creates a different challenge: everything behind the brand has to operate at the level of a national company. More products. More distributors. More retail doors. More creative. More education. More events. More people who need the right asset, the right information, and the right materials, right now. That is where you come in. The Director of Brand Operations & Education is the operational backbone behind how Lotus shows up. You turn approved ideas into finished, organized, accurate deliverables and build the systems that allow the brand to move quickly without things falling through the cracks. This is part brand operator, part educator, part project leader, and part get-it-done person. You aren't here to create strategy decks about what should happen. You're here to make sure it happens. This is a high-volume, fast-paced, bias-for-action environment. We move at the speed of retail, and the operational engine behind the brand has to keep up. What This Role Owns Brand operations: You own the systems, resources, timelines, inventory, and workflows that turn approved marketing initiatives into execution.
Brand education:
You build the educational ecosystem around Lotus, from product and ingredient education to recipes, training resources, distributor materials, FAQs, presentations, and product guides.
Creative production coordination:
You keep creative moving. Briefs are clear, priorities are organized, vendors know what they need to deliver, revisions happen quickly, and finished assets get where they need to go.
Brand resource management:
You own the organization, accessibility, accuracy, and version control of the company's approved marketing and educational assets. Events & trade shows: You own the operational details that make Lotus look buttoned-up in the real world: materials, booth assets, inventory, shipping, timelines, checklists, vendors, and execution.
Distributor support:
You make sure our distributor partners have the education, resources, toolkits, and materials they need to represent Lotus exceptionally well.
Internal marketing requests:
You are the central point of coordination for marketing requests coming from Sales, Operations, Leadership, and other departments. You prioritize, assign, track, communicate, and close the loop.
Where your authority sits:
Marketing and Content leadership set strategy, positioning, campaigns, and creative direction. You own the operational execution of those decisions, including the systems, coordination, resources, and follow-through required to get the work into the world.
What you do not own:
You are not the Head of Marketing, Creative Director, or Content Strategist. Your job is to build the operational infrastructure that allows those functions to execute at scale, then make sure the details are right. Who You Are An operator who finishes. You don't confuse activity with execution. If something is assigned, you know who owns it, what it needs, when it's due, and whether it actually got done. Exceptionally organized. You can manage dozens of simultaneous projects without losing the details. Files are findable. Versions are correct. Inventory is known. Deadlines don't sneak up on you. A strong writer and educator. You can take product information and turn it into useful, compelling education for distributors, retailers, customers, and internal teams. A systems builder. When something happens repeatedly, your instinct is to create a better process for it: templates, libraries, request systems, checklists, calendars, standards, and workflows. Comfortable being hands-on. This isn't a role where everything gets delegated. You will write the article, build the resource, organize the library, brief the designer, call the vendor, check the shipment, and solve the problem. Calm in volume. Multiple products, SKUs, distributors, events, campaigns, and internal requests don't overwhelm you. You prioritize and move. Protective of the details. Wrong logos, outdated files, old claims, missing materials, late shipments, incorrect versions, and disorganized resources bother you, and you fix them before they become somebody else's problem. What You'll Do Brand Education & Resource Development Develop educational content that strengthens product knowledge and builds confidence in the Lotus family of brands. Create product education, ingredient education, FAQs, product spotlights, product-usage guides, comparison guides, presentations, internal training resources, retail education, and distributor education. Write educational blog content and develop consumer and distributor newsletters. Develop monthly and seasonal recipes, beverage inspiration, product pairings, downloadable collections, and evergreen educational resources. Coordinate the photography and supporting creative needed to bring those resources to life. Build and maintain an organized knowledge base so education doesn't disappear into someone's inbox or hard drive. Brand Operations Own the operational systems that keep Marketing moving. Manage marketing assets, promotional materials, samples, distributor kits, printed collateral, sales resources, presentation materials, and marketing inventory. Maintain accurate inventory levels and proactively reorder materials before they become urgent. Keep approved resources organized, current, accessible, and version controlled. Coordinate internal marketing requests from Sales, Operations, Executive Leadership, and other departments. Build better workflows as volume increases. Creative Production Coordination Translate approved initiatives into actionable creative briefs. Coordinate priorities and production schedules across internal creative resources and outside vendors. Track deadlines, deliverables, revisions, photography, video, printing, and production. Review completed materials for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to approved brand standards before distribution or production. Maintain an organized archive of completed work and editable source files.
The goal is simple:
nobody should have to ask, "Where is that?" or "Which version is current?" Distributor Success & Education Give distributor partners the tools they need to sell and represent Lotus successfully. Develop and maintain distributor resource packets, marketing kits, newsletters, training materials, educational handouts, product updates, onboarding resources, marketing calendars, and quarterly toolkits. Coordinate educational webinars and fulfill distributor resource requests. Continuously evaluate where better education or better tools could help our partners execute. Events & Trade Shows Own the operational execution of approved trade shows and brand events. Coordinate booth logistics, shipping and receiving, marketing materials, samples, educational resources, staff binders, inventory, vendors, timelines, and execution checklists. Support on-site execution when required. Afterward, reconcile inventory, organize materials, document learnings, and make the next event better. No scrambling for a banner the night before a show. Player/Coach Execution This is a Director-level role, but "Director" does not mean directing everyone else to do the work. You think and do. You will own projects personally while coordinating internal and external resources around you. You identify problems before they become emergencies, communicate early when something is at risk, and bring solutions instead of simply reporting obstacles. As Lotus scales, you'll build systems that allow more work to happen without adding unnecessary complexity. Cross-Functional Partnership Partner with Marketing and Content leadership to turn approved strategy and campaigns into organized execution. Partner with Creative to keep briefs, priorities, production, revisions, and deliverables moving. Partner with Sales to ensure teams and distributors have current, effective resources. Partner with Operations on product information, inventory, packaging-related resources, shipping, and production realities. Partner with Executive Leadership on presentations, company initiatives, events, and high-priority brand needs. Your value across all of them is the same: you make execution easier, faster, more organized, and more reliable. What You Bring Strong project and operational management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. Excellent written communication and the ability to turn product information into clear, useful educational content. Experience coordinating creative production, vendors, events, marketing materials, or comparable cross-functional projects. Exceptional organization and attention to detail. Strong follow-through and deadline management. Experience maintaining digital assets, resource libraries, version control, or similar systems. Comfort working across teams with competing priorities. The judgment to know what needs escalation, what needs clarification, and what simply needs to get done. Consumer brand, CPG, beverage, foodservice, retail, or high-growth brand experience is strongly preferred. Beverage experience is not required. The ability to operate exceptionally well in a fast-moving consumer environment is. Non-Negotiables You own the outcome, not just your part of the process. Deadlines are commitments. Every asset has a home, an owner, and a current version. Educational information is accurate and current. Internal teams and distributor partners receive timely communication and follow-through. Vendor relationships are managed proactively. Events are prepared before they become emergencies. Brand standards are protected across every resource and touchpoint. You don't wait to be reminded about something you own. Organization isn't administrative overhead here. It is how we scale. Speed matters, but accuracy doesn't become optional because we're moving fast. Think and do.
